Dendritic opals are the perfect gemstone for a piece of winter jewellery as the patterns within the gemstones look like little winter scenes.  I have set this oval dendritic opal in recycled sterling silver and placed hand cut silver flowers and leaves above the stone.  This gemstone necklace would make such a lovely piece for a winter wedding or as a Christmas gift that can be brought out each year and worn throughout the season.
 
I love this pendant as I think the gemstone looks like a little flower meadow in the snow.  The pendant with the gemstone measures 35 x 18 mm and it hangs from a sterling silver chain, you can select the length of chain from the menu.
