This beautiful dendritic opal gemstone necklace is perfect for wearing over the winter season.  The unique feature of these gemstones is the natural black inclusions within the stone creating patterns.  I think the pattern in this stone resembles a winter flower meadow.  This handmade necklace would make a wonderful Christmas gift or gift for someone with a birthday in the winter.  
 
The necklace features an oval gemstone set in recycled sterling silver which lies horizontally with the necklace chain passing through a tube on the back.  The stone is held in place with silver claws.  On the back of the necklace is a little silver star adding a lovely extra detail.
