Carry a little piece of Edinburgh's history wherever you go with this unique Royal Mile cobblestone necklace. Made from an original granite cobblestone salvaged from Edinburgh's famous Royal Mile, the pendant has a wonderful story to tell. I've set the polished stone in recycled sterling silver and added little flowers and leaves for a touch of nature.

Imagine all the people and stories this little piece of stone has witnessed over the years! It would make a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves Scotland, history or nature.

During recent improvements to Edinburgh's Royal Mile, surplus cobblestones were saved, cut and polished into beautiful cabochons rather than going to waste. I've used these historic stones to create a unique collection of handmade jewellery. Each piece is one of a kind, with its own natural markings and history.

This granite cobblestone has lovely pink and grey speckles. The pendant measures approximately 23 x 21 mm and hangs from an 18-inch sterling silver chain with a toggle clasp shaped like a tiny cobblestone. The necklace has been hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office.

To reduce unnecessary packaging waste, you can choose to have your necklace presented in a gift box tied with ribbon or carefully wrapped in tissue paper without a box.
