This beautiful gemstone is Scottish Highland marble, I have set it in recycled sterling silver and added a little handmade silver flower and leaves to the top to create a necklace perfect for a nature lover.
 
Highland marble is formed under the sea around the islands on the West coast of Scotland.  These gemstones were collected by hand by divers. People believe that the Highland marble helps the wearer develop a sense of security.  I love it for the beautiful yellow colours.
 
The pendant measures approximately 35 x 18 mm and the chain length is 18 inches.  The chain fastens with a handmade round toggle clasp but I can exchange this for a traditional lobster clasp on request.  
 
This Scottish gemstone necklace was created using traditional techniques and recycled sterling silver.  It has been hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office.
 
To reduce unnecessary waste I am offering the option of wrapping your order in a gift box tied with a ribbon or simple wrapped carefully in tissue paper if a box is not required.
