This silver crescent moon necklace has been handmade from recycled sterling silver and two little amethyst gemstones.  It's a beautiful piece of jewellery to give as a gift for Mother's day or an anniversary, especially for someone that loves flowers and jewellery that is individual with a touch of the whimsical.  
 
Within the curve of the moon, I have arranged hand-formed silver flowers and leaves which lie against an oxidised background to create depth and enhance the flowers. I've also set two little amethyst gemstones to add a touch of colour, the diameter of the amethysts is 3 mm.
 
Each element is individually formed and its position is carefully considered within the crescent shape which results in a balanced yet organic arrangement.  The back of the pendant has a little silver star.  The height of the pendant is 23 mm.
 
This necklace is made in sterling silver using traditional techniques. Slight variations are inherent to the making process and reflect the individuality of each piece.  You can select the chain length that you would like from the menu.
